Our Story: Where Two Passions Became One Purpose
Iron Dog was built on two lifelong passions: dogs and people.
More than 10 years ago, I became a certified dog trainer and began working with dogs on weekends while continuing my full-time career in the disability sector. During that time, I supported adults with disabilities in their employment, helping them build confidence, independence, and meaningful life skills.
As the years passed, I saw something remarkable.
Dogs have an incredible ability to connect, comfort, motivate, and empower people. I witnessed firsthand how the companionship of a well-trained dog could improve confidence, reduce anxiety, encourage participation, and bring joy to everyday life.
Today, Iron Dog brings these two worlds together.
By combining professional dog training expertise with extensive experience supporting individuals with disabilities, we offer services that go beyond obedience. We help create stronger relationships, greater independence, and a better quality of life for both dogs and the people who love them.
